BIO

o     Filmmaking has always been a passion of mine, ever since I was a little kid growing up in New Jersey. When I was 8 years old I started making stop-motion videos using my parent’s 8mm cassette home video camera and a couple of my toys and action figures.  By the time I got into high school, I had acquired enough of the skills and resources I needed to start producing short films with my friends.

o     In 2003 I entered my first film festival and took home the title for best picture in the emerging filmmaker’s series of the Red Bank International Film Festival. The following year I was nominated for, and accepted to the New Jersey Governor’s School of the arts for Film and Video production, which began the evolution of my hobby into a dedicated long-term career goal.

o     In 2005 I graduated from high school and with three festival wins under my belt, I was eager to seek out greater opportunities. I decided to establish a long-term plan to move out west. The following year I started my own video production company in order to generate income while I was taking some general education credits at the local Community College. In 2009 I made the move to Los Angeles in order to continue my education at The Art Institute of California where, in 2011 I graduated with an Associate of Science Degree in Video Production.
